WHERE & WHEN:
Race Start Time: 9AM
Start Line & Registration Location: Athletes will start the race on Capitol Blvd. (which is directly east of the Utah State Capitol building). Late registration and packet pickup will be located directly south of the starting line area.
Finish Line Location: Near entrance of Memory Grove. No vehicle traffic or parking is available inside Memory Grove. Parking is near start line, a map is available below.
PACKET PICKUP
Pre-registered packet pickup and late registration will take place near the starting line on race morning 7:15-8:45AM. You must bring photo ID to pick your packet up and/or to register. Family members and/or friends are not allowed to get your packet for you.
CATEGORIES & AWARDS
Awards will be presented immediately following the race at about 9:45AM. Utah Pride Festival Award packages will go to the overall male and female finishers. 1st place overall award packages include: 2 Utah Pride Festival VIP Passes which will give you and a friend admission to the Festival and VIP Lounge on Saturday and Sunday, as well as 2 beverages each in the VIP Lounge during the weekend. 2nd & 3rd place overall packages will include 2 Festival Tickets for Saturday and Sunday.
The top male and female finishers in each age-group will also receive awards. Age-groups will be broken down into the following categories for males and females: (under 18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.
COURSE DESCRIPTION/INFO
Athletes will start the race on Capitol Blvd. (which is directly east of the Utah State Capitol building). They will then head North on Capitol Blvd., veering right onto Bonneville Blvd. This road will take athletes to the mouth of City Creek Canyon and up to 11th Ave. Once reaching 11th Ave, athletes will turn around and head back down Bonneville Blvd. (North towards the mouth of City Creek). Immediately before reaching the mouth of City Creek Canyon, athletes will turn left onto Canyon Road, which will then drop them down into Memory Grove. The finish line will be located towards the entrance of Memory Grove (approx. 6th Ave).
AID STATIONS: Water will be provided at the mile 1 & 2 aid stations. Water and a variety of other drinks and foods will be available at the finish area.
